What actually happens in the 60 minutes?

We work through your hiring process systematically – the role brief, the sourcing approach, the screening process, the interview structure, and the offer stage. I’ll ask specific questions, push back where I see gaps, and give you my honest assessment of where the biggest problems are. It’s a working session, not a sales call.

After booking, you’ll receive a short pre-call questionnaire. It takes about 5 minutes and helps me prepare so we don’t waste your 60 minutes on basics. Optionally, send any relevant job descriptions, your careers page, or details of a specific hire that hasn’t gone to plan.
No – it’s also useful for founders who are about to open a search and want to get the foundations right before they start. Prevention is significantly cheaper than fixing a bad hire.
You’ll have an action plan you can implement yourself. If you decide you want hands-on support, we can discuss Project-Based Hiring, a Starter Retainer, or Fractional Talent Partner depending on what you need – but there’s no pressure. Many founders get exactly what they need from the Health Check alone.
Completely. What you share in the session stays between us. I use anonymised patterns from Health Checks to inform my content – never specifics from individual sessions.
You can reschedule up to 24 hours before your session. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are non-refundable, but I will always try to find another time that works.
Yes. The session is on Zoom and I work with bootstrapped founder-led businesses in the UK and US. We’ll find a time that works across time zones.
